Gardening as a journey - Pt 1, The destination

How I'm going to write this book (and how I'm not).
It is very likely, there will be few pictures or illustrations in these posts/articles. The reasons are I am no artist, I can barely draw a recognizable stick figure, and so I will spare you my toddlers level artwork, especially since I can't find my favorite crayons. One of the first questions a speaker or writer needs to answer, to gain the attention of the audience, is “why do I care” What is going to cause me, the audience member, to invest an amount of time and energy here and now on this presentation, rather than any other option currently available?
